Shipping policy

At Free Roam Fitouts, we are dedicated to getting our custom-built kits and off-road accessories to you safely and efficiently. Because we specialize in large, heavy, and often custom-made items, our shipping process is designed to ensure your gear arrives in perfect condition, ready for your next adventure.

1. Shipping Coverage

We offer shipping for our Flat Pack Kits and accessories Australia-wide. Whether you are in a major city or a rural area, we work with reliable freight partners to deliver our products to your door or a local depot.

2. Shipping Costs

  • Calculated at Checkout: Shipping rates are calculated based on your delivery location and the total weight/dimensions of your order.

  • Large Items: For bulky items like full drawer systems or camper kits, shipping costs will be clearly displayed before you finalize your purchase.

  • Quotes for Custom Work: For fully custom builds that require specialized transport, shipping costs will be provided as part of your initial project quote.

3. Lead Times & Processing

  • Custom & Made-to-Order: Many of our products (such as water tank kits and drawer systems) are made-to-order. Please allow a lead time of 3–4 weeks for manufacturing and processing before your item is dispatched.

  • Dispatch Notification: Once your order has been packed and handed over to our couriers, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.

4. Delivery Conditions

  • Authority to Leave (ATL): Unless otherwise specified, couriers may require a signature. If you select "Authority to Leave" in your order notes, you assume all responsibility for the safety of the package once delivered.

  • Presence at Delivery: For large freight items, it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure someone is present at the address to accept the delivery. Redelivery fees from the carrier may apply if no one is available.

  • Depot Collection: For very remote areas or oversized items, we may offer delivery to the nearest freight depot for you to collect at your convenience.

5. Local Pickup & Installation

If you are located near the South Coast of NSW, we offer local pickup from our workshop:

  • Address: Unit 3/139 Industrial Rd, Oak Flats NSW 2529

  • In-Store Pickup: Select "Local Pickup" at checkout to skip shipping fees. We will notify you as soon as your order is ready for collection.

  • Fitment Services: For certain kits, we offer professional installation at our workshop. Please contact us in advance to book a fitment appointment.

6. International Shipping

Currently, we primarily ship within Australia. For international inquiries, please contact us at freeroamfitouts@gmail.com to see if a custom shipping arrangement can be made.

7. Damaged Goods in Transit

Please inspect your delivery immediately upon arrival. If your items appear damaged, take photos of the packaging and the product and contact us within 24 hours so we can lodge a claim with the freight provider and resolve the issue for you.
